Santa Fe

Santa Fe is a leading agroindustrial center of Argentina.The city is also connected by canal with the port of Colastiné on the Paraná River.Some colonial buildings are museums, but the churches still serve their ecclesiastical functions, like the mid 1 7th century Templo cle Santo Domingo, at 3 de Febrero and 9 de Julio.

Museo Etnogrifico y Colonial Juan cle Garay is one of the best museum in Santa Fe.In 2003 the Salado River, which empties into the Paraná near Santa Fe, rose almost 2 m in a few hours following heavy rainfall, and caused a catastrophic flood.
