The Sitio do Alemdo , 1.5km from the park entrance, has wonderful vistas, loads of information about local attractions, and spotless chalets for US$10 per person with a generous breakfast. 'Mere are two pousadas near the park entrance:The Pousada da Neblina has a swimming pool and single/ double apartamentos at US$20/30; and Pousada Gruta de Ubajaras, with apartamentos for US$10/20. Both places have restaurants. The Churrascaria Hotel Ubajara, Rua Juvencio Luis Pereira 370) in Ubajara has quartos for US$10/15.
The Ipu Brasileira company runs four daily buses from Fortaleza to Ubajara (US$l1, six hours). There are also buses to Ubajara from Teresina (US$11, six hours). To reach the park entrance from Ubajara, either walk the 3km or take a taxi (US$5).
