Isla Santa Cruz This is the main population center of the archipelago and the heart of the tourist industries It's a friendly town to chill out in.

Tours can be paid for in US dollars or traveler's checks, The post office is near the harbor. The Red Mangrove Hotel, near the cemetery, rents sea kayaks, sailboards' and bikes. If you kayak over to the island of Caamano, remember you cannot land and the sun on the water gets brutal. Galapagos Discovery, near the park, rents surfboards and bikes.
