Filadelfia

Filadelfia is the administrative and service center of Fern heim, whose main products are dairy foods and cotton. Still a religious community, Filadelfia shuts down on Sunday, but on weekday mornings farmers cruise the streets in search of day laborers, returning them in the afternoon. At midday, the town is exceptionally quiet, as Mennonites have adopted the custom of the tropical siesta.
